IwamotoScott Architecture was established in the San Francisco Bay Area by Lisa Iwamoto and Craig Scott in 2002. IwamotoScott believes every project, regardless of scale, offers an opportunity to achieve excellence through a unique and distinctive design synthesis. The firm’s work has gained widespread recognition for innovation in design across a diverse range of project types, programs and contexts. Both partners maintain academic careers alongside their professional practice – Iwamoto is currently Chair of Architecture at University of California Berkeley College of Environmental Design, and Scott is Professor of Architecture at California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
