What does my in person registration fee include?
Your registration includes access to all lectures in Merrill Hall, additional CE sessions prior to the conference kickoff, lunch (with badge), and all social receptions and events.
All MDC registrations include lunch. A full conference pass includes lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A Saturday One-Day Pass includes lunch on Saturday.
If you are staying off property and would like to participate in additional meals, meal tickets are available for purchase during registration.
For those staying on property at Asilomar, breakfast and dinner are included in your housing. Friday/Saturday stays include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.
Flexible Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by September 30 will receive a full refund, or you may switch to a virtual registration and receive a refund for the difference in pricing.
Starting October 1, you may switch to a virtual registration and receive a refund for the price difference. If you choose to cancel, a $100 cancellation fee will apply.
No refunds will be issued after 12:00 PM on October 19.
Substitutions may be made at any time. You may also switch to a virtual registration at any time (pricing adjustments for member/non-member rates may apply).

Experience all keynote lectures livestreamed from Merrill Hall, plus virtual networking and the opportunity to connect with fellow attendees through an online platform. (Note: New for 2026, up to three CE sessions hosted onsite in the Chapel will be livestreamed for virtual attendees.)
Students & Educators
AIA California is offering complimentary virtual passes for students and professors. Discounted in-person passes are also available for educators. Contact conferences@aiacalifornia.org for details and access codes.
Canceling Your Virtual Pass
Cancellations may be made at any time prior to 12:00 PM on October 19 for a full refund, minus a $100 processing fee.
Substitutions may be made at any time (pricing adjustments for member/non-member rates may apply).
